稀土和Mo5Si3强韧化MoSi2材料的磨粒磨损特性

摘    要:在M-2型摩擦磨损试验机上考察了MoSi2,RE/MoSi2和Mo5Si3/MoSi2等3种材料在干摩擦条件下与氧化铝砂轮对摩时的磨粒磨损性能, 运用扫描电子显微镜和定点探针观察与分析了其磨损表面形貌,并对材料的磨损机理进行了探讨。结果表明:3种材料均具有较好的抗磨粒磨损特性;磨损机理主要为微切削、表面氧化和疲劳微断裂;第二相稀土和Mo5Si3在一定程度上降低了基体的耐磨性,主要归因于表面氧化生成膜的不同性质。

Abstract: The abrasive wear behaviors of MoSi2, rare-earth/MoSi2 and Mo5Si3/MoSi2 materials in sliding against Al2O3 grinding wheel under dry friction were investigated by using an M-2 abrasion wear tester. A scanning electron microscope with electron microprobe analyzers was used for the analysis and determination of the wear mechanisms. The results show that the three materials have excellent abrasive wear resistance. The abrasive wear of the MoSi2 matrix composites is governed by microcutting,oxidation on the surface and fatigue microcrack.The addition of rare earth or Mo5Si3 all increase the wear rate of MoSi2,which is attributed to the resultant generation of the oxide film changing on the worn ceramic surfaces.
