铝从AlCl3-NaCl-CsCl熔体中析出的电化学研究

摘 要:应用循环伏安法,计时电流法和计时电位法对铝从AlCl3-NaCl-CsCl熔体中的析出过程进行了研究。研究表明,在该熔体系中铝的析出为包含三个电子的简单快速反应。从计时电位法测出700℃时氯化铝的扩散系数为5.4±0.3cm2·s-1。研究同时表明成核与长大过程在初期起着重要作用。
Abstract: The deposition of aluminium from A1Cl3-NaCl-CsCl melts was studied by use of cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and chronopotentiometry at 975K. The melts were equimolar NaCl-CaCl mixtures with aluminium content from 5×10-5 to 5×10-4 mol·cm-3 It was shown that aluminium deposited as a partly soluble product on tungsten electrodes whereas it formed an insoluble product on glassy carbon electrodes. The cathodic process seemed to be a simple rapid reaction with exchange of three electrons. The diffusion coefficient of AICl3 was found to be 5. 4±0. 3 cm2·S-1. Nucleation played an important part in the process at the early stage. It led to the abnormality of Ip vs. v0. 5 plots, maxima in chronoamperomograms and overshoots in chronopotentiomograms.
