ZrC质量分数对C/C-ZrC复合材料力学性能的影响

摘    要:采用基体改性技术将ZrC引入C/C复合材料中,制备一种新型的C/C-ZrC复合材料。利用X线衍射仪、扫描电镜及能谱等分析手段,研究材料的形貌和结构,并采用三点弯曲试验研究材料的力学性能,讨论ZrC质量分数对复合材料断裂行为的影响。研究结果表明:引入的ZrC主要以纳米颗粒的形式分布在材料中;随着ZrC质量分数的升高,C/C-ZrC复合材料抗弯强度逐渐降低,当ZrC质量分数为36.64%时,C/C-ZrC复合材料断裂过程中发生脆性断裂,材料断裂模式转变的原因主要与ZrC质量分数升高引起的纤维损伤及石墨化度提高综合作用有关;经2 000 ℃的石墨化处理后,断裂过程中材料的脆性行为变得更加明显。

Abstract: To improve the ablation resistance of C/C composites in severe environment, C/C-ZrC composites were fabricated by inner-modification method. The structure and morphology of the composites were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS analyses, and the effect of ZrC mass fraction on the fracture behavior of the composites was investigated by three-point bending tests. The results show that the introduced ZrC particles are distributed as nano-crystallites in C/C-ZrC composites. With the increase of ZrC mass fraction, the flexural strength of C/C-ZrC composites decreases gradually. As ZrC mass fraction improves to 36.64%, the fracture mode of the composites transforms from toughness to brittleness, and the transformation of the fracture mode is mainly contributed to the improved graphitization degree and reaction damage of the carbon fibers in the preparation process. After the heat treatment at 2 000 ℃ for 2 h, the brittleness behavior becomes more obviously.
