Abstract: The requirements on emulsions for aluminium tube drawing processes have been discussed. Apart from satisfying with the large deformation of processing, the studied emulsion can solve the contradications between the brightness feature and the good lubricity of emulsions, and make the surface of aluminium tubes very smooth after annealing.
