Prediction on Enthalpy of Mixing for Cu-La and Pd-Sn Binary Systems

Abstract: Enthalpy for mixing of Cu-La and Pd-Sn binary systems were predicted by Miedema model. The agreement between the predicting results and the experimental data shows that such model is suitable for not only ferrous metal systems, but also rare earth elements and nonferrous metals.
