Abstract: Recrystallization behavior of a low carbon X70 pipeline steel was studied in the plane strain compression condition. It was found that the dynamic recovery but no dynamic recrystallization occurred in the current experimental condition. A method for examining the prior austenite grain boundary corrosion was supposed.
