EFFECT OF THE CHANGE IN THE WATER SYSTEM CONSTITUTION ON THE FIOATATION PROCESS OF GRAPHITE

摘 要:<正> A new method of graphite floatation using sea water is discussed in this paper,The effect of theelectrolyte ions in the sea water on the water system constitution and the effect of the change in thewater system constitution on the floataion process of graphite are theoretically analised.Test resultsand theoretical analysis have proved that the strengthening of the water system constitution can in-crease the difference between water system and the force field on graphite surface,thus resulting inthe increased floatability of graphits and in the increased efficiency of kerosine and terpineol.Theedsorption of chlorions on the graphite surface can loosen the water system constitution around theedsorption spots and enhance the hydrophobicity of graphite surface,thus increasing the graphite fl-oatability.
