摘 要:通过测定添加金属氧化物于聚氯乙烯(PVC)后的氧指数,研究了金属氧化物在pVC中的阻燃规律。认为主族金属氧化物的阻燃性能与元素周期律有联系,大部分主族金属氧化物的阻燃能力随着金属元素的非金属性增强而增大,过渡族金属氧化物的阻燃能力则与元素周期律的关系不甚明显,文中探讨了阻燃机理,认为金属氧化物与HCl的反应能力、氯化物的沸点及金属元素与Cl形成的化学键强度都是影响金属氧化物阻燃能力大小的重要因素,这将为开发高效复合阻燃剂提供了理论依据。
Abstract: This article provides an overview of flame retardant of metal oxides in polyvinyl chloride(PVC) by test oxygen index. The flame retardancy of pretransition and posttransition metaloxides have close relation with element periodic law(EPL). The flame retardancy of manypretransition and posttransition metal oxides increases with the increase of nonmetallic char-acteristics of metal element.But transition metal oxides have inferior relation with EPL. The mechanism of flame retardant was studied and discussed. The important factors of af-fecting metal oxides’flame retardancy are the ability of metal oxides to react with HCl, theboiling point of metal chloride and the metal elementchloride chemical bond energy.
