一种基于误码特征的802.11 WLAN包丢失原因推断方法

摘    要:提出一种改进的基于误码特征的802.11 WLAN误码丢包原因判别方法。利用误码包末尾比特误码概率更高的特点,只回送末尾1 500 bit进行误码特征分析;通过理论分析和实验验证,引入区分效果较好的误差向量指标;并在获得误码特征指标集后使用贝叶斯分类算法进行丢包原因判别。研究结果表明:与COLLIE相比,本文方法的判别精度提高,准确性提高约5.3%,假阳性率降低约4.8%,假阴性率降低约10.5%,而通信开销则降低约50%,表明本文方法可更高精度、低开销地实时判别WLAN误码丢包原因。

Abstract: An improved bit error characteristic based method for infering the causes of bit-error packet loss in 802.11 WLAN was proposed. It adopts the phenomenon that the ending bits in bit-error packets have higher error probability, just sends the ending 1 500 bit for analyzing bit-error characteristics, and it adds EVM as a new infering parameter through theory analyzing and experimental varifing. At last, the Bayes classification algorithm for judging packet loss causes was studied after the bit-error characteristics metrics were obtained. The results show that, compared with COLLIE, the precision of the proposed method is improved. It can increase the accuracy by about 5.3%, and decrease the pseudo positive rate rfp by about 4.8%, pseudo negative rate rfn by about 10.5%, while communication cost decreases by about 50%. So it can deduce the causes of bit-error packet loss in wireless LAN with higher pricision and lower cost.
