惰性气体雾化法制备TiAl3粉末的特性

摘    要:采用惰性气体雾化法制备TiAl3粉末,并通过激光粒度分析仪、扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪等研究TiAl3粉末的粒度分布、表面形貌及物相结构。结果表明:粉末中值粒径(d50)为62.23 μm,微分分布曲线呈单峰且近似于正态分布,这是因为高雾化压力有利于熔滴的二次破碎;大部分粉末颗粒呈球形或近球形,粉末表面相对较为粗糙,这是由于TiAl3熔液粘度较大所致;粉末的物相结构主要是TiAl3相和少许Ti2Al5相,雾化过程中较高的冷却速率抑制Ti2Al5向TiAl3相进行包晶转变。

Abstract: TiAl3 powder was prepared by inert gas atomization. The size distribution, surface morphologies and phase structure of the TiAl3 powder were investigated by laser scattering particle size distribution analyzer, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffractormetry, respectively. The results show that the median diameter of the powder is 62.23 μm. The differential distribution curve of powder size exhibits unimodal form and a good fit to the normal distribution, because high atomization pressure is beneficial to secondary breakup of melt. A large amount of the powders are spherical or nearly spherical, and the surface of the powder is rough, which is resulted from large viscosity of TiAl3 melt. The phase structure of the powder is mainly TiAl3 and a small amount of Ti2Al5. The peritectic transformation from Ti2Al5 to TiAl3 is inhibited by high cooling rate in atomization process.
