富钴结壳CAD15和MHD59的质子激发X荧光分析

摘    要:采用外束质子激发X线荧光分析PIXE技术对太平洋富钴结壳CAD15和MHD59分层样品中的21种常微量元素进行测定。结果表明,CAD15和MHD59两结壳具有相似的化学组成特征,与深海沉积物相比较,均富含Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Sr和Pb等元素,体现出结壳的典型特征。结壳中各元素的深度分布从总体趋势上,结壳CAD15和MHD59中各元素含量呈现相似的分布特征,Ni和Cu分布特征非常相似,且和Mn有大体一致的变化趋势。对结壳中各元素间的相关关系的研究有助于加深对富钴结壳成矿物质来源及生长机制的理解。

Abstract: PIXE (Proton Induced X-Ray Emission) technique was carried out on the estimation of 21 elements of all the samples of two Co-rich crusts, CAD15 and MHD59, from Pacific Seamounts. Results show that the chemical compositions of both crusts (CAD15 and MHD59) are similar, both are abundant in some elements, e.g., Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Pb, compared to marine sediments. In addition, the profiles and possible interelemental correlation of some elements e.g., Fe, Mn, Co, Ni and Cu, were discussed, which assist the further understanding of the geochemical features and the genesis of Co-rich crusts.
