Microwave Absorption Studies of M-Type Ferrite Doped with Lanthanum Prepared by Citric Acid Sol-Gel

摘 要:M type hexagonal ferrite (La0.5K0.5)xBa1-xFe12O19 (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) doped with Lanthanum were synthesized through a citric acid sol-gel auto-combustion. The microwave absorption properties of M type hexagonal ferrite (La0.5K0.5)xBa1-xFe12O19 were investigated. The crystal lattice of the ferrite was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The influence of the content of lanthanum on the dielectric constant and permeability of the ferrite was investigated. The results of the experiments indicate that microwave absorption properties of the ferrite could be dramatically improved with optimizing lanthanum doping (x=0.3).
