Abstract: Pb1. 04 ( Mn1/3 Sb2/3 ) 0.05ZrxTi0.95-xO3 (x = 0.45 ~ 0. 485 ) ternary system was prepared by using two-stage technique with solid oxides as raw materials. The crystallographic phase, microstructure, electric-properties and temperature stability of the system were studied. The results show that pure perovskitic structure was obtained by calcination at 900 ℃ for 2 h. Near the morphotropic phase boundary of Zr concentration x = 0.47, the rhombohedral phase and tetragonal phase region coexist. Most of the compositions show a diffuse phase transition with a strong frequency. PMS-PZT quinary system exhibits a well-situated property near the morphotropic phase boundary. The changes of resonant frequency at morphotropic phase boundary are smaller than others. The variation of resonant frequency reflects the transition from tetragonal phase to rhombohedral phase. The optimized results of εT33/ε0 ( 1420), d33 (324pC/N), Kp (62%), Qm (1180) ,tanδ(0. 0029) are obtained with Zr concentration x =0.47.
