摘 要:以中等相对分子质量的环氧树脂为原料、2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)为改性剂,过氧化苯甲酰为自由基引发剂,制备了稳定的环氧树脂乳液;以产物AMPS-EP的收率和水分散性、反应体系的酸值、特性粘数随时间的变化规律为考察对象,对AMPS改性环氧树脂的反应历程进行了推断。结果表明,在反应过程中,AMPS与环氧树脂主链的接枝反应及与环氧基团的开环酯化反应同时进行。AMPS-EP的收率及水分散性与反应时间有关,反应进行2 h时,产物具有较高的水分散性;但超过3.5 h后,随着反应时间的延长,聚合物的水分散性变差。红外光谱分析结果表明,改性产物AMPS-EP含有环氧基、磺酸基与磺酸酯基。
Abstract: A stable epoxy emulsion was prepared using epoxy as raw material, 2-acrylamido2-methyl-propanesulfonic acid(AMPS) as modifier and BPO as initiator. By criterion of productive rate of AMPS-EP, water-solubility, change of the acid value and intrinsic viscosity along with reaction time, the copolymerization course was deduced. The results show that during the process, 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-propanesulfonic acid takes part in both the grafting copolymerization with epoxy principal chain and the ring-opening polyaddition with epoxy group. The productive rate of AMPS-EP and water-dispersing vary with reaction time. When the reaction time reaches 1.5 h, AMPS-EP is of good water-solubility; but the water-solubility becomes bad gradually when the reaction time exceeds 3.5 h. IR spectrum analysis indicates that AMPS-EP contains epoxy groups, sulfonic acid groups and sulfonic ester groups.
