A Study on the Specific Heat of the Lanthanide Oxides

摘 要:<正> In this paper,we report the measurements of the specific heat of the lanthanide oxides(La2O3,CeO2,Pr6O11,Nd2O3,Sm2O3,Eu2O3,Gd2O3,Tb4O7,Dy2O3,Ho2O3,Er2O3,Tm2O3,Yb2O3,Lu2O3)from-150℃ to800℃ by using adiabatic scanning calorimeter.We found that chemical reactions occur during the heating pro-cess of initial La2O3 and Nd2O3 materials by using DTA and X-ray diffraction.The results of specific heatmeasurement show that except CeO2 and Tb4O7,other twelve lanthanide oxides were accompanied withendothermal change and weight loss to a certain degree during the heating process.
