Effect of Heat Treatment on Mechanical Property of High Cr-W Cast Iron

Abstract: The microstructure of high Cr-W cast iron after heat treatment were analyzed, and the effect of various heat treatment temperature and time on mechanical properties of high Cr-W cast iron were studied, and the best process parameter of heat treatment was provided in this paper. The results show that the heat treatment can improve the mechanical property of high Cr-W cast iron, and higher synthetic mechanical property of high Cr-W cast iron can be obtained when treated with normalization at 980℃ for 2h and tempered at 400℃ for 2h.
