巯基化合物的合成及应用于环氧甲基丙烯酸酯的紫外光固化研究

摘    要:以对甲苯磺酸为催化剂,分别以2-甲基-1,3-丙二醇、三羟甲基丙烷、季戊四醇与3-巯基丙酸进行酯化反应,合成2-甲基-1,3-丙二醇缩二(3-巯基丙酸)酯(PD3ME)、三羟甲基丙烷缩三(3-巯基丙酸)酯(HPT3ME)和季戊四醇缩四(3-巯基丙酸)酯(PT3ME),并采用傅里叶红外光谱和核磁共振氢谱对产物进行结构确证。考察酸醇比、反应时间、反应温度、催化剂用量和带水剂用量对产率的影响,并通过正交试验确定PD3ME,HPT3ME和PT3ME制备的最佳反应条件。将合成的系列巯基化合物用于环氧甲基丙烯酸酯(EA)的紫外光固化,利用傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR)研究环氧甲基丙烯酸酯-巯基化合物(EAM)光聚合双键转化率。实验结果表明:加入巯基化合物后,环氧甲基丙烯酸酯的紫外光聚合不受凝胶阻聚和氧阻聚的影响,双键转化率大大提高,由20%提高到78%以上。

Abstract: Using P-toluene acid as a catalyst, 2-methyl-1,3-Propanediol di(3-mercaptopropionic) ester (PD3ME), 1,1,1- Tris(hydroxymethyl) propane tri(3-mercaptopropionic) ester (HPT3ME) and Pentaerythritol tetra(3-mercaptopropionic) ester (PT3ME) were obtained through esterification reaction by 2-methyl-1,3-Propanediol, 1,1,1-Tris(hydroxymethyl) propane, pentaerythritol and 3-mercaptopropionic, respectively. The compounds were determined by FTIR and 1H NMR. The influences of the acid alcohol ratios, reaction time, reaction temperature , dosages of catalyst and water-carrying agent on the yield were investigated. The optimum reaction conditions of a series of epoxy methacrylate-thiol compounds were obtained by orthogonal experiment. The synthetic sulfhydryl compounds were used as the epoxy methacrylate ultraviolet curing agent. The conversion of double bonds in epoxy methacrylate-thiol compounds was researched by using FTIR. The results show that ultraviolet light polymerization of epoxy methacrylate is not affected by gel polymerization and oxygen polymerization with thiol compound, and because of thiol compounds, the conversion of double bonds is improved remarkably from 20% to more than 78%.
