Abstract: Six new rare earth complexes with Schiff base from 2,6-diformylpyridine N-oxide and 4-amino-antipyrine were synthesized. These complexes with general formula REL(NO3)3 (RE=La, Pr, Eu, Tb, Er, Y) were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, molar conductance measurements and antimicrobial activity.
